Dans le cadre de l'exposition Chorégraphies pour mains mouillées de Sarah-Jeanne Landry, nous vous invitons à participer à un atelier de médiation unique, qui mêle l'art de la performance à l'écriture poétique.
Deux dates disponibles pour cet atelier :
le samedi 1er février de 14 h à 16 h
le samedi 22 février de 15 h à 17 h
Une visite commentée de l'exposition ouvrira les ateliers suivis d'un échange informel pour expliquer ce que nous vivrons ensemble.
Au cours de l'atelier, vous serez invité.e.s à réactiver et vivre autrement les actions performatives de Sarah-Jeanne.
Sarah-Jeanne Landry vit et travaille à Montréal, où elle poursuit une maîtrise en arts visuels et médiatiques à l’UQAM. Sa pratique existe au carrefour entre performance, littérature et art conceptuel. Elle explore la sensation diffuse d’échouer à la communication et à l’appartenance, en élaborant des protocoles d’actions qui agissent comme des laboratoires du sensible. Chorégraphies pour mains mouillées fait le rapport et l’archive des phénomènes vécus lors de cinq microperformances réalisées dans le courant d’air chaud de séchoirs à main.
Myriam Tousignant est une artiste multidisciplinaire qui s’intéresse principalement aux arts imprimés et à la poésie visuelle. Elle a participé à plusieurs expositions collectives et solos au Québec. Titulaire d’une maîtrise en arts visuels, elle occupe différentes fonctions dans le domaine culturel (formatrice, médiatrice culturelle, conseillère culturelle et enseignante) en parallèle à l’avancement de sa carrière artistique.

As part of the exhibition Chorégraphies pour mains mouillées by Sarah-Jeanne Landry, we invite you to take part in a unique mediation workshop, blending performance art with poetic writing.
Two dates available for this workshop:
Saturday, February 1st, from 2 pm to 4 pm
Saturday, February 22nd, 3 pm to 5 pm
A guided tour of the exhibition will open the workshops, followed by an informal exchange to explain what we'll be experiencing together.
During the workshop, you will be invited to reactivate and experience Sarah-Jeanne's performative actions in a new way.
Sarah-Jeanne Landry lives and works in Montreal, where she is pursuing a master’s degree in visual and media arts at UQAM. Her practice exists at the crossroads of performance, literature and conceptual art. She explores the diffuse sensation of failing to communicate and to belong, developing action protocols that act as laboratories of the sensible. Chorégraphies pour mains mouillées reports and archives the phenomena experienced during five micro-performances performed in the hot air current of hand dryers.
Myriam Tousignant is a multidisciplinary artist whose main interests are printmaking and visual poetry. She has participated in several group and solo exhibitions in Québec. With a master's degree in visual arts, she holds various positions in the cultural field (trainer, cultural mediator, cultural advisor and teacher) in parallel with the advancement of her artistic career.
